Description
Kevin Laurens is an esteemed potter based in Heathcote, Victoria. Laurens uses the traditional French ‘Jarre a la Corde’ technique to craft large pots of exceptional strength and quality. Meaning ‘Jar with Rope’, the clay is applied directly by hand onto a coiled rope shape supported by a wooden frame. Once removed the rope leaves a unique impression on the inside of the pot.
